They are meant for people who want to mix music on a PC or tablet

Mixing music can be done with a normal mouse and keyboard set, but that doesn't beat a “keyboard” specifically designed for such things.

Knowing this, KORG fashioned the microKEY USB powered MIDI keyboard series, which is now welcoming two new members.

The newcomers are a music keyboard with 61 keys and a miniature version with 25 keys.

Both of them are compatible with PCs and Apple Mac systems, but also with the iPad tablet.

Content shouldn't be a problem. There are loads of music mixing programs for Windows and the Apple App Store has its share of MIDI based apps as well, KORG’s iMS-20 being just one of the many.

The new keyboards are bundled with the KORG Legacy Collection software synthesizer suite. Unfortunately, there is no way to know when and for what prices the new products will start selling.
