K-cup soup packs include chicken noodle soup, and the packs are offered with vegetables and noodles. CEO Denise Morrison came up with the idea of being able to prepare soup in a Keurig coffee machine.
As a result, Campbell and Green Mountain will now be selling "fresh-brewed soup" in a K-Cup.
She describes the product as " an afternoon snack that is ultraconvenient and flavorful," according to the Philadelphia Inquirer.
"Campbell is connecting with consumers in new and exciting ways," Morrison says.
To prepare the soup, the noodles and vegetables packs are first placed into a bowl then the powdered broth is prepared in the Keurig coffee machine and poured over them.
