Cry me a river, Justin...

Let's suppose you're a soccer player for Aston Villa, but you've always dreamed to join Chelsea. In case Roman Abramovich declared his interest for you, what would you have done in order to get the transfer? You would have strived to impress and prove that you would be a great addition to the squad at Stamford Bridge. This is exactly the same situation as for hackers who have large groups of experienced attackers, always trying to find new targets and exploits. But what if a newbie and unexperienced hacker wants to join a group? Just like a soccer player, he struggles to prove that he can represent only a good signing for the crew. And 'Tesla' is the best example that supports the above example.

Tesla is a wannabe hacker, who managed to get our attention after he assaulted several MySpace profiles and modified the content appearing on the pages. First, it was said that Tesla managed to hack on Hillary Duff's and Tila Tequila's profiles, but at a closer look, it was revealed that Justin Timberlake was affected too. This would be a great moment to sing the 'Cry me a river' hit, Justin!

Getting back to the hack, it seems like the hacker didn't attempt to infect the MySpace profiles. All he wanted was to prove the Kryogeniks (who were apparently a group of hackers) that he deserved to join their team. "Well, my names Tesla I like to hack I think Tilas a hottie and uh I wanna join team Kryogeniks," he wrote on a hacked profile, according to Facebook's security blog.

What's interesting is that the official page of Kryogeniks, which was mentioned by the attacker during his attacks, is down at the time of writing this article. However, the folks writing at the Facebook security blog found a cached version of the Kryogeniks forum, on which Tesla proved us he's a wannabe hacker having a single post along with the "Junior Member" rank.
