14 DAY TRIAL // Justin Theroux is a handsome man. Even before Jennifer Aniston came in the picture in 2011 and subtly transformed him with a few touchups that turned him into somewhat of a metrosexual still posing as a rough biker boy, he was just as handsome.
Even back then it was clear that, once past a certain age, he would go bald, but that didn’t make him any less attractive.
The latest print issue of the National Enquirer (story via CB) writes that today, when he already has a visible bald spot on the crown of his head and a widow’s peak in the front, Justin is feeling insecure about his looks. For her part, fiancée Jennifer is doing her best to assure him that he’s still hot to her, claims the tab.
Not that her words make much of a difference when he’s caught off-guard, which is what happened just recently, when Justin was ambushed by two men he assumed were fans who just wanted his autograph.
“He was exiting a gym in West Hollywood when two men approached, said they were fans and asked him to pose for a photo – but once it was clicked, one guy handed Justin a card that ID’d him as the manager of a hair restoration clinic, and told him they could beef up his thinning locks,” one source tells the tab.
Apparently, Justin went “NUTS” (in caps) because he’s so touchy on the topic of his hair. He was also furious to have been lied to like this and didn’t miss the chance to admonish the man, telling him, “You pretend to want a picture so you can hustle me? Pretty devious, man!”
Well, you have to admit, it is pretty devious. Any man or woman would have probably felt just as cheated to find out that the “fan” politely asking for a photo was actually someone trying to peddle a product.
The same report insists that Jennifer loves him as much as on day 1, bald spots or no bald spots on his head.
“Jennifer’s told him she couldn’t give a hoot – pointing out that he looks like Daniel Day-Lewis, who’s also got thinning hair, and girls think he’s gorgeous. Justin accepts it, but he can be a bit sensitive about it,” another unnamed friend reveals.
The run-in with the so-called fans is proof that he is still sensitive about it. On the bright side, even if his hair is thinning, Justin’s career has never been better: HBO renewed “The Leftovers,” on which he plays the lead male, for a second season.
