Among the sources that her representative has tried to contact were Good Morning America, Today and Inside Edition, promising them all to spill the beans on what really happened the night Justin was taken away to jail.
A source said that “She hired an attorney and was negotiating a deal with the weekly magazines and the big TV shows. She wanted $20,000 plus a guaranteed mention of her modeling career,” indicating that the model was really looking out for her best interest rather than the career and well-being of the pop star.
However, all this shopping for a media outlet prospect was abruptly ended on Monday, and the main speculation is that it's all due to the fact Justin chose to take Chantel on a romantic weekend with him in Panama.
The two were seen having a great time on the beach, but it oddly coincided with the abrupt stop in trying to sell the story. Also, it seems that none of the networks was willing to dish out the money in return for the scoop.
Another insider says that “Chantel was talking to all the networks, but they refused to pay her. Yesterday she abruptly pulled out of all the discussions.”
The pretty model who plasters her revealing photos all over her social media channels isn't a miss goody two-shoes herself, having quite an extensive arrest record. Among the charges, there is speeding and assault with a deadly weapon when she stabbed another woman in the arm during a physical altercation.
Before becoming Justin's apple of his eye, Chantel, who describes herself as a “student, model, eyebrow connoisseur, animal lover, and deep thinker” on her Twitter channel, has dated P. Diddy's son, Justin Combs, as well as American football player DeSean Jackson, and Bieber's own friend, Lil Twist.
