In light of the recent developments in Justin Bieber's life, his father has come to the attention of the media, all for all the wrong reason. Following his release from jail yesterday after he was accused of driving drunk, with an expired license and racing, Justin and his dad were spotted at an alcohol-fueled party.

Now Radar reports on some disturbing facts about Jeremy Bieber, Justin's dad. The 38-year-old is said to have been absent for most of his childhood and has made a return only after his son went on to become famous and rich.

“Jeremy loves the lifestyle his son leads, private jets, exotic cars and over the top vacations. Justin had been financially supporting Jeremy for several years. Jeremy treats Justin as a friend, a peer, instead of as his son, they’re buddies,” a source claims.

Needless to say, this doesn't make Jeremy popular with Justin's management team, who are, at the moment, trying to put an end to his erratic behavior and get him into a rehab facility.

Scooter Braun, Justin manager, is particularly not fond of Jeremy, because he thinks he's a bad influence on the singer. He might be right too, considering that Jeremy was blocking the street when his son got arrested, facilitating his drag race and later hanging out drinking alcohol with him.

“It’s absolutely no secret that Justin’s manager, Scooter Braun, and Jeremy don’t get along. Scooter has been the father figure in Justin’s life, and then all of a sudden, Jeremy pops back on the scene….look at all the chaos in Justin’s life,” the same source says.

The heavily tattooed Jeremy is known to police back home in Ontario, Canada as a notorious troublemaker, indulging in heavy use of alcohol and then starting up fights. He is said to be a martial arts enthusiast and have split from Justin's mom, Pattie, when their son was 13 months old.

Based on recent events, it doesn't take a specialist to see that Jeremy isn't having the right kind of influence on his son who is, at the moment, spiraling out of control, with possibly disastrous consequences.
