14 DAY TRIAL // Being 20 and already having drug, alcohol and commitment issues while at the same time earning millions in your bank account is not something that anyone can pull off with such ease, but Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez seemed to have slipped into their roles perfectly. Reports have then now turning their faces to God for a change.
Us Weekly reports that both Justin and Selena have oddly chosen to forgo their partying ways and chosen to go back to faith, to God and to the Bible, probably in an effort to redeem themselves. Even if Selena hasn't been that outrageous in the press, her boyfriend Justin is been involved in every type of scandal you can imagine.
An insider reveals that the recently reconciled couple attended Bible Studies together on Wednesday, June 18, and they seemed to be deeply affectionate towards each other. We're not sure a Bible study session is the best place for that, but at least they were reading the Good Book.
Bieber and Gomez apparently “sat next to each other and listened to [Pastor Judah Smith']s sermon.” An eyewitness confirms that they seemed “smitten with each other.” That very same day, Justin shared on Instagram a photo from Smith's teachings which he captioned “Bible study with Judah Smith.”
Lately, both Selena and Justin have seemed to have turned to God as a solution to their problems. Selena was the first one to go back to church, posing in a pew during the Easter holiday. Some of her religiousness must have rubbed off on Justin, who just last month was involved in a huge racial scandal, and, more recently, in a robbery case, a DUI, and now a vandalism case.
His managers and people in his entourage hope that the Pastor will be able to talk some sense into the Canadian crooner who has been on a worldwide spree since the beginning of the year, outdoing himself in outrageous antics every step of the way.
From drugs, to run-ins with police and even a stint in jail, the singer has pretty much done it all. At one point, worried friends set up an intervention for him in Panama, where he was vacationing at the time. Mentor Usher and mother Pattie Mallette were seen flying in, and it was supposed that they had a chat with Bieber, who was spiraling out of control.
So far, Selena's influence on Justin seems to be beneficial to the singer, but let's wait and see how long it lasts, because on numerous occasions it was rumored that these two often brought out the worst in each other.
