With Mariah Yeater's claims that he fathered her son now proved unfounded, Justin Bieber could breathe easily, and just lay back and forget about everything. Instead, he's undergoing a DNA test to prove he's not the daddy.

Even though Yeater has dropped the lawsuit against Bieber claiming he was the father of her 3-month child after a casual encounter last year, he still wants to take a paternity test.

The pop star has already said he doesn't want to be turned into a victim by not taking any stance when people just come out of nowhere to make the most outrageous claims about himself.

With the DNA test, he'll make sure that doesn't happen, Us Weekly informs.

“He's ready to take a paternity test, at any moment. We have one scheduled for tomorrow,” the singer's manager, Scooter Braun, says in a statement cited by the aforementioned celebrity publication.

The Biebs apparently “doesn't mind” going through the trouble of getting the test done, as long as he proves just what a big liar Yeater was.

At the same time, they're hoping they will, this way, discourage any other attempts of the kind in the future.

“He's like 'I'm just going to go ahead of it and be fine',” Braun says.

If Yeater thought that dropping the initial lawsuit would get her out of trouble with the Bieber camp, she's wrong, the manager further says. They're still thinking of suing her for defamation.

“We've never even seen the lawsuit, but we're going to just get ahead of this thing and go right after it. I think it's important to hold people accountable for their actions,” Braun explains.

As for how Bieber feels about all this, he just wants to get the test and show that, just because he's a celebrity, it's not ok to make false allegations about him.

“It doesn't matter. We don't want it to seem like its okay for everyone to say, like, 'I had Justin's baby or having his baby',” he says.
