The singer has had a lot of run-ins with the law this year

At least we know that Justin Bieber is getting help. The Canadian pop singer who has been called the biggest brat on the planet and who has been in more run-ins with the law this year then he's had number one singles (in fact, he hasn't really been releasing any new material worth getting excited over), is said to now be getting professional help for his wild behavior.

The Daily Star has spoken with an insider from his entourage who has confirmed that Justin is getting professional help. The 20-year-old has been seeing a Los Angeles-based shrink, that is helping him get over his anger issues, as well as with his dangerous need to constantly pull attention-seeking stunts.

Justin Bieber goes to see expensive shrink, uses his fame to skip the long waiting list

“Kenyon's treating Justin in person, when possible, then over Skype when he's away. Sometimes they even have more than one session a day,” confides the insider.

And the sessions aren't even cheap, mind you. One session ends up costing Justin $1000 (€773) but he still calls the good doctor or visits him almost on a daily basis. Kenyon is said to be such a good doctor that he's in high demand in Los Angeles, but Justin used his fame to skip the long waiting list (there is currently a standard time of 3 years to get to see the doctor) and get to have sitdowns with the shrink in the shortest of time.

Justin's mother made him do it, afraid he'd have a meltdown

We don't know if the sessions are of any help, but it is said that Justin is rather enjoying the chats. “It's too soon to tell if it's having a positive effect, but the fact that Justin has kept it up and passed the first batch of sessions speaks volumes,” claims the insider.

It turns out that it was the singer's mother, Pattie Malette, who encouraged Bieber to seek council, after he almost had a meltdown at the beginning of the year, which culminated with his arrest for a DUI in Miami.

“'His mum Pattie suggested he should give it a go. She's constantly worried he'll do something that will ruin everything he's worked for. And he adores his mum so he agreed to do it for her,” told the same source.

But don't go cheering for Justin just yet. It's not known for how long Justin has been seeing the shrink, but he still has to do some work because just last week he was arrested in Canada for getting into a crash with paparazzi.
