14 DAY TRIAL // There was a time when Justin Bieber’s decision to cut his bangs and ditch the bowl cut that had come to be known as “The Bieber” (and thus reveal to the world that he did, indeed, have a forehead) promoted angry protests online among his fans.
Things are better in this sense these days, though not as far as Justin’s tastes in hairstyling go.
You see, Justin Bieber is now a platinum blonde. No joke. Miley Cyrus just got some serious competition in the “who rocks short blonde hair best” department. On the other hand, they can now totally pass for siblings.
Justin Bieber knows that blondes have more fun
There’s an old saying that goes something like, “blondes have more fun.” Whether it promotes a damaging stereotype or not is an entirely different matter, but it seems that Justin holds it to be true, because he bleached his famous locks and is now a platinum blonde.
He first unveiled his new ‘do on social media, to give his loyal fans a taste of what was coming. His first public appearance as a blonde was for the cutting of the ribbon ceremony for a West Coast Customs car shop in Burbank, CA.
Because nothing says bad boy like a dude in a bad peroxide job trying to appear gangsta.

The fact that he looks like Miley Cyrus’ long-lost sibling isn’t earning him any favors either.

This year gave us our first (and hopefully last, but not likely) mugshot with Justin Bieber, who was picked up in Miami for drag racing and suspicion of driving under the influence. Like any young man his age but with more money than sense, he went out partying, had a few beers, and then got behind the wheel to do some street racings.
Bieber eventually walked free from the arrest, but not before the Internet had picked up on a thing that had somehow escaped attention, namely that he and fellow pop star Miley Cyrus – who seems to be on a collision course on her own right now – shared the same facial features.
This started a new hilarious meme and the rumor that Justin and Miley had been separated at birth, or were siblings – if not actually sisters.
His new, light blonde ‘do isn’t helping matters. Neither is it helping him come across as more grown-up / mature, which has been his intention throughout recent months and he’s been trying to make it happen with bad boy behavior, serial-dating, and getting ink all over his body.
Something nice: hair this blonde usually takes a while to look its best. Justin has seen better hair days, most definitely, but he will again. Beliebers, do not worry.
