Manager Scooter Braun has given pop sensation Justin Bieber an ultimatum regarding his future: either get out of the spotlight, go home and lead a normal life, or continue his musical career.

This harsh approach comes after Justin has managed to get himself in more trouble in the last couple of weeks than he has done for his entire career so far.

The peak of his “bad boy” antics was last week, when the singer was arrested by police officers in Miami for driving under the influence, carrying an expired license and drag racing.

Seeing his career spiral out of control, Braun took counter-measures and confronted the 19-year-old. Contactmusic quotes him as saying “Either we quit and let you try and find a normal life or you realise that this is what this is and we've got to keep fighting.”

Scooter wasn't the only one to talk some sense in the lost Justin. Usher, his musical mentor, the man who first discovered him while he was a kid, flew all the way to Panama and have a sit-down with the singer.

It's not known what they talked about, but the media called it an “intervention” after it emerged that Pattie Mallette, Justin's mom, and also a childhood friend were also present at this conversation.

Meanwhile, Bieber doesn't seem to be bothered by all of this for even one second. He's still busy living it up on the beach of Panama, with his current model girlfriend, Chantel Jeffries. His court appearance date has been set on February 14, so it looks like he'll be spending his Valentine's Day in front of a court judge.

Whether Justin will choose the simple life, or the flashy life of a celebrity, it remains to be seen. But there are rumors that he's planning to leave the limelight, for a more simple existence that has him opening up a tattoo shop with his formerly estranged father.
