Song from Music Mondays series gets visual companion and it’s not what you’d expect

In case you haven’t been paying attention, Justin Bieber is all grown up now. Also in case you haven’t been paying attention, he now has a new video that will drive the message home, the official visual companion for “All That Matters.”

“All That Matters” is one of Justin’s most recent releases, part of the Music Mondays series, which saw him treat fans to 10 different songs throughout a period of 10 weeks, which he compared to pages of his diary.

Well, this particular page just got a video that’s bound to break a gazillion hearts across the world because it sees the pop star making out with a gorgeous, leather-pants-clad model. Meanwhile, Justin remains completely in ignorance of the existence of shirts.

There is no denying that the production value of the video is very high and that a lot of time and effort and money went into making it this good looking. However, I’m having a very hard time buying it.

Justin Bieber, even with all his body tattoos and his muscles and his raunchy moves, still wears more makeup than his onscreen lover (that lip gloss is killing me) and he’s still prettier than she is.

I can’t buy this tough guy image he’s trying so desperately to sell, not when his lips sparkle in the semi-darkness. Or, I guess, you can just call me old and be done with it.
