14 DAY TRIAL // The plot thickens! Selena Gomez is now single again and, as per reports, determined to cleanse her life of all her “toxic” friends, including the Jenner sisters Kylie and Kendall, with whom she’d been very close until a few days ago, when she removed all traces of them from her social media accounts.
One theory making the rounds right now about the “friends cleanse” is that Justin Bieber is somehow involved. Insiders claim he got too close to the sisters while still Selena’s boyfriend and, as if that weren’t bad enough, that they partied too much for Selena’s taste, especially since she’s determined to stay clean and sober.
So, she’s cut all ties with all three of them.
The latest report from Radar Online claims that Justin most definitely cheated on Selena (or planned to, at least) because she found texts from Kylie Jenner on his phone. The e-zine doesn’t say anything about the nature of these texts, but we’re to understand they were inappropriate because Justin was already in a relationship.
Kylie is only 16 years old.
“Selena flipped out and there was a huge fight between the girls. She now wants nothing to do with Kylie or Kendall. She was already getting bad vibes from Kylie – Selena thinks she parties way too hard. Selena was also furious at Justin. They’re not together right now,” says an insider.
While this particular source seems convinced that Justin is romancing Kylie, it could be that he’s actually dating Kendall because they were just spotted grabbing sushi together, as the Daily Mail can confirm. Hailey Baldwin tagged along as well.
Selena and Justin’s once fairytale romance has been plagued by fights and reports of cheating for many months now. Things seemed to take a definite turn for the worse at the beginning of the year, when she went off the grid for a couple of weeks, during which time she’s said to have checked herself into rehab.
The “break” was also meant to help her get over Justin and the negative influence he exerted over her. Clearly, it didn’t work because they were back as an item not long after she left the rehabilitation center, before she even completed the 30-day program.
Last time Selena was seen with the Jenners, they were partying together at the Coachella Music Festival and plastering duck-face selfies all over Twitter and Instagram. Selena has since removed all these photos, together with any mention of the girls – which must mean that whatever it is that they did to her is very serious.
