14 DAY TRIAL // If you were a fan of Rita Ora and Calvin Harris as a couple, then you must be sad because they've just announced their split. Though the entire matter was put down to differences in character and the usual “conflicting schedules” excuse you get from celebrities, there's a much darker reason for this breakup.
TMZ points the blaming finger at Justin Bieber of all people, which means that there's good reason why the Canadian boy recently landed on the 5th place as America's most hated man. Basically, these days, if you need to hate on someone, you can't go wrong with Justin Bieber.
Sources from the love triangle confirmed that it was Calvin Harris who pulled the plug on the romance, but only after word reached him that Justin Bieber got a little “touchy feely” with his girlfriend Rita. The two were stuck in the recording studio and must have decided to fill up their time with something other than singing.
Calvin wasn't happy when he found out that, during the months they spent in the studio together, Justin and Rita had developed an affection for one another and weren't shy to resort to intimate gestures in front of everybody. These included Rita sitting on Justin's lap, or Justin rubbing her back when she was tired.
In his announcement on Twitter yesterday, Calvin Harris claimed that the rumors were true and that he and Rita Ora were no longer an item: “To address speculation - myself and Rita ended our relationship some time ago. She is a beautiful, talented woman & I wish her all the best.”
His words indicate that the split had occurred some time in the past couple of months, which would explain why he's been spotted hitting the town hard in Hollywood and exposing himself with a lot of women, presumably just to rub Rita the wrong way and show her that he too can play dirty.
The same insiders have confirmed that Calvin had Rita's stuff removed from his LA house and, just to make his revenge sweeter, he also let her know that all the songs he's produced for her are going to get scrapped and they will never see the light of day.
While Rita has been also accused of having an affair with Jay Z behind Beyonce's back, Justin Bieber just can't seem to keep his nose clean these days. His reputation is still recovering from that double whammy that was the racial scandal video leak, in which Justin gave a very expletive rant on African-Americans.
