Everybody is waiting to see what Google has to offer with their Gphone. Expectations are quite high when it comes to this company, which also gives reason to a great amount of anticipation. Rumor has it that Google is already discussing with service providers in India for an exclusive launch on one of their networks.

According to what has been going by lately, people should expect to see the Gphone hit the telecom market as soon as in the next two weeks. Keeping it real, though, there are slim chances for this to happen, as Google has to go through a lot of steps until they release their first mobile phone.

Just as it has happened with Apple, another company just breaking through the mobile phone market, Google will most probably plan this release thoroughly and not just land it overnight. There is still a great amount of publicity to benefit from and some serious planning to take care of.

The iPhone also owes its success to the great amount of suppositions and rumors that have had people discussing it over several months. In order to make a big break on the telecom market too, the Gphone could very well use the same strategy, one that is surely not going to happen over the next two weeks.

Of course, Google does not comment on the rumors launched over the close release of their phone. Still, they certify their interest in mobile communication and also admit the fact that a great amount of negotiations with partners worldwide are being conducted for them to break on the telecom market, especially through Google search and applications.

The search engine major is said to have started negotiations with Indian mobile telephony operators for a future release of its phone. Moreover, the company has also showed interest in mobile technology development, by participating in the upcoming auction for 700 MHz spectrum for which it is willing to spend up to USD 4.6 billion.
