14 DAY TRIAL // Just Cause 3 developer Avalanche Studios confirms that it's added a new physics-based destruction system that allows for unique explosions and rampages every single time, so players can definitely have some replayable fun with the open world sandbox title.
Just Cause 3 is the next game in the open world series made by Avalanche and the studio has already shared some interesting details, not to mention various videos with the impressive looking title. After offering a fresh gameplay video earlier this week, Avalanche is now going in-depth about certain features that define the upcoming title.
Physics-based destruction brings unique rampages
After talking a bit about the new gadgets and the enhanced ones that can be employed by protagonist Rico, Avalanche now mentions on its website how the destruction system has been overhauled to produce even more impressive results.
Without a doubt, many fans remember the awesome explosions they could produce in Just Cause 2 or the original title in the series. As such, Avalanche emphasizes from the get-go that Just Cause 3's new open world, the Medici Mediterranean island, is filled with petrol stations, fuel tanks, and electrical substations that can easily be turned into explosive surprises.
What's more, a new destruction system based on physics ensures that your rampages stay random and unique every single time, so there's always an incentive to come back and try to blow things up in a different way, while chaining up different actions for better results.
"The new physics-based destruction system in Just Cause 3 means everything breaks, crumbles and falls apart in real-time, according to your actions – nothing is pre-canned. This makes the world as crazy and unpredictable as Rico himself, and means that no two playthroughs of the game will ever be the same," the studio explains.
Just Cause 3 is set to receive many other details as we get closer to its debut on PC, PS4, and Xbox One later this year.
