Just Cause 3, the upcoming open-world sandbox experience from Avalanche Studios, allows players to pull off even crazier stunts than those seen in past titles, thanks to a new ability that enables protagonist Rico to walk, run, or grapple on the rooftops of all the vehicles in the new game.

Just Cause 2 and its predecessor impressed quite a lot of players from all over the world thanks to their big open worlds, not to mention the crazy things that can be done by protagonist Rico in those actual environments.

For quite some time, Swedish developer Avalanche Studios has worked on Just Cause 3, the next iteration in the series, and in recent times, it's started sharing actual videos, screenshots, and details about the upcoming action-adventure title.

Rico is much more agile in Just Cause 3

After having provided us with a stellar gameplay trailer last week that highlighted some of the things possible in Just Cause 3, the studio now talks a bit about the stunts that can be performance by Rico and players in the upcoming experience.

Besides being able to walk, run, or use gadgets like the grapple, the parachute, or the new wingsuit, Rico is now able to interact with the top of all the vehicles in Just Cause 3. As you can imagine, this new ability allows for even crazier stunts, so expect to see plenty of epic moments in the open-world title.

"Rico can now walk freely across the top of all the vehicles found in Medici, from the wings of planes, the tops of monorail trains to the bonnets and boots of automobiles. This allows him even more freedom, running and grappling from one rooftop to another and performing crazier stunts than ever before," the studio explains on the website.

Combine this with the multi-point grapple as well as the highly destructible elements found in the game's world, and you can bet that lots of crazy things are possible.

Just Cause 3 is set to appear later this year on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
