Yet again the former is faced with a loss in the drawn-out conflict

Apple and Samsung have been battling each other under the watchful eye of a California court for well over two years now, and Samsung seems to be slowly losing, as it has been ordered to pay another settlement.

And it's not exactly a small settlement either, but one of $290 million, or €215 million, give or take.

This was decided by a Silicon Valley jury on Thursday, yesterday as it were (November 21), after a week-long trial in San Jose, California.

The trial covered five patents and 13 products, which Apple would love to see banned too, something that probably won't happen.

At this point, Samsung owes Apple $890 million / €660 million, due to the damages imposed back in August 2012, of $450 million / €334 million. And it almost was $1.05 billion / €750 million too.
