A juror in the George Zimmerman case has forsaken plans to write a book documenting her experience during the trial.

Unidentified juror B37 had gotten in contact with a publicist and had landed a book deal. However, it was dropped after a petition and a lot of media pressure.

Jezebel relays a statement by the juror as presented by Sharlene Martin, the literary agent at Martin Literary Management LLC who was supposed to represent her.

In the press release, the juror speaks about not being aware of the pain and uproar the case has caused.

“That isolation shielded me from the depth of pain that exists among the general public over every aspect of this case,” she writes.

However, it appears that the juror only had a change of heart after she was dropped by her agent. @MoreAndAgain set up a petition and let BuzzFeed know about the deal, and Martin took back her book offer.
