I was inclined to shrug off rumors of a fourth “Jurassic Park” film but Hollywood never disappoints in this way: it loves its sequels way too much. Called “Jurassic World,” the film will be out in 2015.
Earlier reports said that it would go into production next April for a summer 2014 release, which seemed a bit too rushed especially considering that a movie with dinosaurs (killer dinos, no less) would require many months in post-production.
Borys Kit of The Hollywood Reporter has the exact release date and, yes, this one makes more sense.
“Breaking: Jurassic Park 4 now titled JURASSIC WORLD. Release date now June 12, 2015,” he writes.
“Jurassic World” will be directed by Colin Trevorrow (“Safety Not Guaranteed”) and will feature Steven Spielberg as producer.
He didn’t want or couldn’t return as director but, as the saying goes, every little bit counts.
Are you excited for the fourth “Jurassic Park” movie?
