Which is to say it's made from 3D printed primates, not for primates

I suppose it was obvious that this would eventually happen. Since 3D printing is supposed to be usable for everything, handbags should be a no-brainer really.

Belgium-based bag and luggage company Kipling has introduced “The Monkey Madness City Jungle Shopper.”

Essentially, it is a 3D printed handbag, or rather a handbag made of intertwined 3D printed monkeys.

It's meant as an homage to the Jungle Book and is made on a stereolithography (SL) machine, the oldest 3D printing process.

A large format SL3D printer makes the bags in one go, from smooth and flexible epoxy resin. Only the logo and handles of the bag are made separately (not 3D printed).

No clue how durable the bag is though, and no price is known either. Only that the official launch is supposed to take place this spring (2014).
