Either that or they'll come out over the next three days

We've already seen most consumer-oriented CPUs powered by the Haswell architecture, the fourth generation of Core-Series CPUs, but those aren't the only chips that Intel is preparing.

There are some embedded processors on the way too, all of which will make their official appearance between today (May 27) and June 7.

They are called Xeon E3-1268L v3, Core i5-4570TE and Core i7-4700EQ.

Xeon E3-1268L v3 is a quad-core processor with 8 threads (Hyper-Threading), 8 MB cache memory (L3), GT2 graphics (350 MHz / 1 GHz) and a TDP (thermal design power) of 45W.

Its clock frequency is of 2.3 GHz (base) and 3.3 GHz (Turbo Boost).

Core i5-4570TE is a dual-core with 4 threads, 2.7/3.3 GHz clock speed, 4 MB L3 cache, 350 MHz / 1 GHz GT2 graphics, and 35W TDP.

That leaves the Core i7-4700EQ, whose TDP is unclear. It will either be of 37W or 47W. Either way, the chip is a quad-core with 8 threads, 2.4/3.4 GHz clock speed, 400 MHz / 1 GHz GT2 graphics, and 6 MB L3 cache.

These three central processing units first surfaced back in March, but all we knew about them was the ETA we specified above. The technical specs only appeared thanks to CPU World website.

Obviously, the graphics chips can't hold a candle to the HD 4000 and HD 5000 iGPs included in the desktop and notebook-oriented processors.

The again, that's perfectly expected, given the completely different consumer segments and product types that embedded chips are aimed at.

Speaking of which, all three units come with Trusted Execution and VT-d virtualization, AES and AVX instruction set extensions, PCI Express 3.0 support, and DDR3-1600 memory controller.

In addition to the Xeon E3-1268L v3, Core i5-4570TE and Core i7-4700EQ, Intel is preparing the N2805, N2810 and N2910 ULV processors, but we'll see to those separately, so stay tuned.
