14 DAY TRIAL // While, at first sight, one might not see many similarities between British glamour model Jordan, now known solely as Katie Price, and Hollywood Oscar-winner Julia Roberts, there is more to pairing them together than meets the eye. According to Price, she would love if Roberts played her in a movie, she tells More! Magazine.
As we all know, Price is no longer just a glamour model, having expanded her business empire to include anything from an equestrian clothing line for children, to women’s lingerie and books for all ages. Since she has amassed quite an impressive fortune and perhaps has more stories to tell than a dozen of regular folks put together, Price is also thinking of seeing that a movie is made after her life. And she has even found her actress of choice to play her.
Price’s fourth biography is coming out later this year and, consequently, she’s also seriously considering having a movie made as well. “I mentioned that to my management. I’ve got another autobiography coming out in October, so I suppose it will be after that.” Price tells More! as to when she might start work on her film. Unfortunately, the star refrains from offering more details on what it might be about or other specifics than the name of the actress she’d want in it.
“I’d probably say Julia Roberts – and the reason is, before my career and everything, my hair was really curly. And I saw ‘Erin Brockovich,’ and thought she’d be good at playing me. And then ‘Pretty Woman’...” Price says when asked about who she’d want to play her. Other than the similarity in curly hair, and the fact that Price wants Roberts in her movie, undoubtedly the two stars don’t have that much in common, it is being said, so those actually hoping to see Julia with fake chest and cheap, flashy clothes would better not hold their breath.
Currently, Price is in Los Angeles, where she’s having her hair extensions touched up a bit, an operation she undergoes every three months and that costs her an estimated $10,000. Also part of the post-divorce “resolutions” are a new tattoo, smaller implants and finding love again, as Katie herself was saying a while back.
