Come April, Dr. Conrad Murray will face the music as the trial in which he’s accused of involuntary manslaughter for the death of the King of Pop, Michael Jackson, will begin. Fans will have full access to the proceedings, a judge has ruled.

As Dr. Murray, Michael’s personal physician, who was with him at the time of his death in June 2009 and is believed to have been the one who injected him with the overdose of Propofol, continues to claim his innocence, fans and the Jackson family are asking for the responsible to be accountable.

Since they believe Dr. Murray is it, they will have the chance to see for themselves all the court proceedings, since the trial will be televised, as PopEater confirms.

“A judge ruled Dr. Conrad Murray, the physician accused of involuntary manslaughter in the king of pop’s death, will be tried in a court that allows approved television cameras. The judge also ordered that jury selection for the trial will begin March 24,” the e-zine says.

In the preliminary hearings so far, Murray reportedly claimed that Michael Jackson, who was already very sick by then, injected himself with the lethal dose of Propofol, a report that the DA has already confirmed

“In January, Dr. Murray’s medical license was suspended and he was ordered to stand trial for the charge of involuntarily manslaughter,” PopEater writes.

“This happened only six days after more than 20 prosecution witnesses testified that Murray violated his duties as a medical professional by injecting Jackson with a surgical-grade anesthetic then failing to properly monitor him to see the effects of the drug,” the e-zine informs.

As the trial kicks off, it is believed the opening statements will be made in the first days of April. The trial will presumably last about 6 weeks and, at the end of it, fans and the Jackson family will hopefully get some sort of closure.

At this point, Murray is free after posting $75,000 bail. Throughout the media scandal and the Jackson family openly accusing him of murdering Michael, he has maintained his innocence.
