Even though they’ve been separated for many months and Christina Aguilera has already moved in with her new boyfriend, ex Jordan Bratman refuses to leave the house they once called their home, it has emerged.

Christina and Jordan separated in October after nearly five years as wife and husband. They are now in the process of divorce.

However, to avoid any unnecessary trouble with son Max and until they could agree on how the actual separation would be made, the two continued living together in the same house for a while longer.

As it turns out, the situation hasn’t changed even with Aguilera asking her new boyfriend to move in with her, Us Magazine has learned.

“If those walls could talk! A source tells the new issue of Us Weekly (out now) that Christina Aguilera, 30, and her new boyfriend Matthew Rutler, 25, are living under the same roof as her ex Jordan Bratman – because he refuses to move out!” the publication writes.

While the house they share must undoubtedly be large enough to accommodate three adults and a child (not including the staff here), the situation can’t but be extremely odd.

“‘It’s gotten really awkward,’ an Aguilera pal tells Us of life at the $11.5 million Beverly Hills mansion, where the exes look after their son Max, 3,” the publication further writes.

While this is going on, rumors continue to make the rounds that the singer has turned to drinking to ease the pain of the divorce, even though she’s in what seems to be a happy relationship.

Several reports over these past weeks suggested that Aguilera is acting out like Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan did before her – and both ended up in rehab sooner or later.

There are also accounts from “sources” and unnamed “friends” as to how they’re trying to stage an intervention to make her see she has a problem and needs rehab, as we also noted on a previous occasion.
