Jon Gosselin focusing on mending broken relationship with Kate and kids, turns down offer for OctoMom reality show

The general opinion on Jon Gosselin is that there’s little he wouldn’t do for money, even if that meant harming those closest to him. Still, according to the reality star himself, one thing he won’t do even if the financial gain could be pretty substantial is a reality show with OctoMom Nadya Suleman, as TMZ informs.

Speculation about Suleman looking to get Mr. Gosselin for a brand new reality show that would turn out to be ratings gold and a very good source of income has been making the rounds ever since she told the paparazzi she found him “hot,” out of the blue. Such rumors were never confirmed and eventually started to die down, but Jon is now saying in a statement to the celebrity gossip website that, indeed, he was approached with an idea for a show.

Not only that, but he also turned it down because his “spiritual advisors” were getting a very bad vibe about it. “Jon Gosselin is not going to hook up with OctoMom for a TV special, because his ‘spiritual advisors’ had a bad feeling about the project.” TMZ writes after receiving a letter from Gosselin’s rep regarding ongoing rumors. The letter does not specify what exactly those “vibes” were but the conclusion can be only one: the Jon & Nadya Suleman show is not happening.

“We got a statement that Jon’s ‘talent’ agent sent to the producers of ‘Jon - Kate = Jon + Octomom’ saying, ‘While Jon appreciates the consideration and the potential revenues that it offers, after reviewing with both the management team and his spiritual advisors Jon has decided it is not in his best interest to pursue a show of this nature.’ The ‘Dear Jon’ letter continues, ‘... it is important to Jon to focus on his family and repairing the relationship that Jon and Kate need to have, both for themselves and for the sake of their children’.” TMZ further informs.

As we also reported yesterday, Jon is indeed set on making things right with estranged wife Kate and the eight children they have together, as he also said the other day in an interview responding to his girlfriend’s claims that he was being emotionally abusive to her.
