After divorcing Kate Gosselin and being axed from TLC’s still incredibly successful reality series “Jon & Kate Plus 8” after trying to cause problems for the network, Jon Gosselin is eager to make his comeback to television. He wants to be back on the small screen and would probably do anything to make it happen, E! Online writes, but the problem is he simply doesn’t know what kind of show he should do.

In April this year, buzz online had it that Mr. Gosselin was so strapped for cash that he had decided to meet and romance only wealthy women because otherwise he couldn’t afford to maintain the lifestyle he’d grown accustomed to. At the same time, he was reportedly begging TLC, his former employer, to have him back by offering him a job on another show, since he’d burned all the bridges as far as “Jon & Kate Plus 8” was concerned.

Now that things have settled down a bit, Jon is looking into getting a job – and it has to be on TV, if possible. “I’m interested in going back on TV. I’m not sure about a reality show or whatever but I’m meeting people and seeing what is out there programming-wise. I haven’t been on TV for a while – first time in about six months so I am just kinda laying low, focusing on my life, getting back with my kids and figuring things out,” Gosselin tells E!.

As for the options open to him as regards a possibly future show, Gosselin says Dancing With the Stars may be an option – if only somebody asks. “I know I have rhythm and I know I can dance, but I don’t know about me going on. No one has said anything to me. But I took ballroom dancing. I’m pretty fluent in that sort of thing. But after watching it I’m like, Ugh, so much criticism. I think you should go out there and just have fun anyway,” the father of eight adds.

His ex Kate also did ABC’s DWTS and was reportedly paid $500,000 for it. Despite very harsh criticism, she managed to be kept on the show for much longer than expected – and her bringing in the viewers may have had a lot to do with it, it is being said.
