A new full trailer for the sci-fi thriller “Transcendence” has appeared online, ahead of the movie's release on April 18. It doesn't reveal new film footage, but it does better showcase Depp's transformation into an omniscient artificial intelligence.

The movie centers on the moral and physical issues of transferring the conscience of a genius man into a super computer. The script is written by newcomer Jack Paglen and is helmed by first-time director Wally Pfizer.

Wally is known for his collaboration work on movies such as “The Dark Knight” and “Inception,” so he's no stranger to Hollywood blockbusters. And “Transcendence” has all the makings of a blockbuster, with an awesome script and an even more awesome cast.

Among the actors featured in the film are Morgan Freeman, Rebecca Hall, Kate Mara, Cillian Murphy and Paul Bettany. Acting as co-producer on the film is Christopher Nolan, which adds even more hype to a cinematographic project that was present on the Hollywood Black List, a compilation of the most eagerly anticipated unproduced screenplays floating around the industry.
