14 DAY TRIAL // As they say, there’s never smoke without fire and the same applies to last year’s rumors that Johnny Depp was dating his “Rum Diary” co-star Amber Heard. For the first time since word of a more than platonic relationship between them got out, photos emerge to confirm it.
Depp’s fans – or any celebrity gossip lover for that matter – must already know that whispers about a possible romance started making the rounds even before he and longtime partner Vanessa Paradis announced the split.
Then, the tabs had Depp and Heard going back and forth, now fighting, now getting back together, now broken up.
In November, reports said that they had gotten back together.
The Daily Mail now has photos that confirm that they are still an item.
“It was rumored he had won her back after building her a bar. And the proof was very much in the pudding when Johnny Depp brought Amber Heard to a Rolling Stones concert in Los Angeles on Saturday night,” the tab writes.
“The pair held hands as the Pirates of the Caribbean favorite led his lover around backstage at the exclusive show, which was held in trendy nightclub Echoplex,” adds the same media outlet.
An insider claims to have it on good authority that, indeed, Johnny did build Amber a bar as a sign of willingness to make the relationship work.
The last time they split was because Amber thought Johnny wasn’t serious about her and that he was only looking to rebound from Vanessa.
She was also upset about the way their romance had been tackled in the media, and hated having people point fingers at her and call her a homewrecker.
“He had a bar built on his Bahamas property to look exactly like the one in The Rum Diary. The set designer created the plans. They are so in love,” says the spy.
