14 DAY TRIAL // Johnny Depp doesn't want to let the age difference between him and his new fiancée, Amber Heard, stand in the way of her happiness and he's willing to offer her children, despite the fact that he's 50 years old and he already has two children from his last 14-year relationship with Vanessa Paradis.
Speaking with the British tabloid, The Mirror, the actor admits to wanting to settle down once more with southern belle Amber Heard who is a little more than half his age, coming in at a blossoming 27 years old.
Johnny wasn't too shy to talk about children, among rife rumors that he pressed on the question to Amber simply because she was pregnant. Bear in mind that Johnny and Vanessa, his previous partner, were never legally married, so it's a bit of a puzzler why Johnny would all of a sudden choose to adhere to old values.
The actor said that he would never deny his wife-to-be the opportunity to become a mother. “As far as having more kids, it’s easy for me, and Amber should have the opportunity to have kids if she wants.”
The mischievous Depp also took a funny poke at the entire matter hinting that he was fond of the baby-making process and what it involved. “Let’s face it, practicing for it is fun and it’s all wonderful,” he said.
And when it comes to children, the man who starred in several Disney films about pirates professed his love for the little tikes, “I love kids. I have two and they’re perfect. Man, I’d make a hundred.”
So far, Johnny has had to settle for two, daughter Lily-Rose, 14, and son Jack, 12, but something tells us that there is soon going to be an addition to the Depp family if the actor can help it.
As for those nasty rumors that he and Vanessa Paradis were now at odds over their split, Johnny would like to put your mind at ease. “Vanessa and I get along wonderfully. There’s no weirdness at all, no hostility – life happens and we spent 14 great years together,” he brushed the rumors off.
“We see each other all the time and giggle and hang out just like we always did,” he adds to make his point. “She’s a wonderful woman. I love her and she loves me and she’s a great mommy. I have nothing bad to say, ever.”
In the meantime, Amber is said to have gotten “super close” to his children and it looks like they're all going to be one big happy family.
