14 DAY TRIAL // Two months after welcoming a baby boy into the world, John Travolta and wife Kelly Preston are introducing little Benjamin to the world, via the cover of People
magazine.
The proud parents and their little miracle / bundle of joy are also featured in Hello, which also includes an interview that will appear in the print issue.
Speaking with People, the two actors recall the birth of Benjamin and how wonderful life is again at home now that he's there with them.
As fans must know, two years ago, John and Kelly had to deal with the sudden death of their 16-year-old son, Jett, who suffered from autism.
However, they had started trying for another baby one year before the tragic event, they say for the magazine.
Just when they were starting to lose hope, the miracle happened and they learned Kelly was with child again.
“John Travolta and Kelly Preston had tried for another child for three years, so the surprise news last year that Preston was pregnant left them 'completely blown away!' the actress tells People in an exclusive interview,” writes the mag in a preview piece.
“Now, less than two months after Preston, 48, delivered Benjamin on Nov. 23, the proud parents are showing off their little 'miracle',” People says.
In the accompanying interview, the two stars recall how John held Kelly's hand throughout childbirth, while daughter Ella Bleu, who's 10, waited outside in the company of good family friend Kirstie Alley.
“He’s given the house a renewed spirit and purpose,” John Travolta gushes for the magazine.
“These days, the Travolta home in Ocala, Fla., is filled with joy, lullabies from Dad ('A Bushel and a Peck,' from the musical Guys and Dolls, is a favorite), readings of Good Night, Gorilla and hugs from big sister Ella,” People writes.
However, nothing beats the memory of Benjamin's first smile, which the proud parents describe as the best moment so far.
