14 DAY TRIAL // John Stamos has posted on Instagram a photo of himself visiting a 19-year-old amputee. The former “Full House” star mentioned taking the girl to Disneyland, something she has always wanted to do.
“I'm ONLY doing this cause they asked. I said no press. But this story is a must read—plus me and Katie have a date to Disneyland,” he posted on his account, according to E!.
Kaitlyn Dobrow survived a potentially fatal bacterial infection and had to have her limbs amputated. She has been in the hospital since February and her family are battling the large bills and multiple surgical operations.
They have set up the "Caring for Katie" Facebook page and they have managed to raise $77,000 (€57,600) for the medical interventions.
A friend of Dobrow's, Kristen Kidd has posted a “thank you” message to the actor on her Twitter account.
