14 DAY TRIAL // The other day, on the big finale of Lindsay, Lindsay Lohan’s docuseries on OWN, the actress shocked the world by revealing that, during a 2-week break she took from filming the show, she had a miscarriage. Many didn’t buy her tragic story and, as the video below can confirm, Joan Rivers is one of them.
Granted, the comedienne is known for her biting sense of humor, which means that, even if she had believed Lindsay, she would have probably still made that joke in front of the paparazzi, about how Lindsay should have kept the aborted baby.
Perhaps realizing that she’d just treaded into uncertain territory, Rivers added, “what do you think I am? I was born with a coat hanger sticking out of my ears.” Judging by the expression on her daughter’s face, she wasn’t really enjoying the joke.
Rivers also had a few things to say about Tori Spelling and her husband Dean McDermott, who are now documenting their marital crisis on a new docuseries, this time on Lifetime. She seems to be siding with Dean, who told Tori in front of the camera that he cheated on her because she would not sleep with him as often as he wanted.
Useless to say, Rivers’ jokes have already caused some ruckus online. There are people who believe the rumor that Lindsay lied about the pregnancy and the miscarriage to get the sympathy vote from both the public and the producers, but even they say Rivers shouldn’t joke about these things – you know, just in case Lindsay is telling the truth.
