You can always count on Joan Rivers to bring the controversy and / or speak the painful truth when no one else would. In her new book, “Diary of a Mad Diva,” the comedienne calls out Kristen Stewart, Angelina Jolie, Paris Hilton and Pharrell Williams for a series of things she believes to be true.

Take the case of the “Twilight” actress, for instance. In the summer of 2012, right before the final “Twilight” movie came out, Kristen was photographed kissing a man who wasn’t her boyfriend at the time Robert Pattinson.

He was Rupert Sanders, who had directed her in “Snow White and the Huntsman” and he was a married man, and father of two minor children. Kristen was branded a homewrecker and the scandal was huge.

According to Joan, that side of Kristen that we saw when those photos came out, snapped by a hidden paparazzo in a parking lot, without Kristen or Rupert knowing about his existence, is the “real” Kristen. In fact, Rivers writes in the book, as cited by AceShowbiz, Kristen has “slept her way to fame.”

“Many stars only do one thing well. Of course, the best one-trick pony is Kristen Stewart, who got a whole career by being able to juggle directors' balls,” Rivers writes.

Now, regardless if you like Kristen as an actress or if you believe those critics who say she has less acting skills in her than a wooden board, Rivers can’t possibly be right in saying these things – unless, of course, she has some inside knowledge that’s not even hinted at in this report.

If anything, she could have accused her of becoming famous by using her parents’ connections in the industry but then too she would have been off the mark because, even before her career was launched with “Twilight,” Kristen had been working consistently in movies and was even getting lots of positive reviews for her various performances.

It’s true that she made a mistake with Sanders, both in cheating and in getting caught, but from that to saying that she slept her way to the top, to becoming one of the hottest and most in-demand actresses of her generation, is a long way to go.

Worry not though, Rivers doesn’t spare anyone in her book. Somehow, she managed to put Angelina Jolie and Paris Hilton in the same sentence and even to compare the two. Imagine that.

“It's all over the news that Angelina Jolie had a double mastectomy to prevent getting cancer. I think Paris Hilton should... step up to the plate and try to prevent STDs. It would be so easy for her. All she would have to do is have her knees fused together,” Rivers writes.

She also takes offense with Pharrell’s ranger hat and says that, even though risky wardrobe has been banned from all major TV and film events on the red carpet, the “Happy” hitmaker makes it possible for people at home to still see “[expletive]holes” at such events, because of his stupid hat, which, apparently, comes in all colors, to match his outfits.
