I guess that even your nephews know the correct answer to the "What's Led Zeppelin?" question. And if they don't, well, you should definitely be ashamed because they SHOULD! No matter what kind of music you may love most, a large part of the proper history of contemporary music has been written on Zep pages. Names like Lennon and Jimmy Page have forever been engraved in the hearts of music lovers and will live on even after generations will pass.

Until such a gloomy future becomes today's news, let me tell you the actual news of the day: Gibson, the interplanetary renowned guitar manufacturer teamed up once more with one of the legends themselves, Jimmy Page, in order to give birth once more to a guitar which has set the teenagers' and adults' minds on fire for so many years: the Jimmy Page DoubleNeck.

If you think this is some other new doubleneck guitar, then you're oh so wrong. Gibson has pulled off a limited edition (25 pieces, actually) of the aged guitar with Jimmy Page custom shop pickups (not available elsewhere), an all period-corrected mahogany body and the exquisite one-piece mahogany necks.

The exact replicas of Page's guitar (the 25 I've been telling you about in the lines above) can be yours for $33,500 each. Along with the guitars themselves featuring Jimmy Page's signature on the headstocks' backside, come a certificate of authenticity signed by Page, as well as a specially designed Custom Shop case and the acclaimed two-DVD Led Zeppelin box set.

250 more Vintage Original Spec Signature Double Necks have been built by Gibson and sold for sums ranging between $10K and $12K: they will not have the signature on the rear of the headstock, neither will they have the aged looks, but they do come with the authenticity certificate. March 18th is the day when the 25 Limited Aged guitars will become available; for further news please check the Gibson website.
