14 DAY TRIAL // Jimmy Kimmel sported a very painful looking black eye the other night on his show. The video above is the explanation he offered for the recent injury, also including a very hilarious reenactment.
Kimmel says his always perfect face got busted up because he got distracted and hit himself with the car door, as he was trying to open it to retrieve some change to feed the meter.
He hit himself in the cheekbone and eventually required 11 stitches. And yes, Kimmel really looks like that, like that shirtless hunk in real life.
“I know I've never had the doctor sew up my face before, I feel like one of the Real Housewives or something. But I learned an important lesson, and that lesson is: car doors open outwards,” he says.
Despite the pain he must’ve been through, he still finds it in himself to throw in a Paula Deen racist joke.
“And my eye keeps on getting blacker. My eye is so black right now Paula Deen apologized to it,” he says.
