The actor didn't confirm the rumor, but he didn't actually deny it either

You can watch the video of Jason Momoa sitting down with Jimmy Kimmel and decide for yourself if the grilling worked or if the hunky actor actually gave the role away by his facial expressions and his gestures. It's hard to tell since he's always got that sly devil smile on his face.

Understandably, Jimmy Kimmel started his grilling with the most outstanding issue of the day: will Jason Momoa portray Aquaman in the upcoming “Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice” movie? Granted, he did ease him into the discussion with some stuff about his “Game of Thrones” role.

The host was evidently awed by Momoa's sheer size and even showed the audience a photo of the actor shirtless in his role of Kaal Drogo from “Game of Thrones.” As Momoa tried to play it off cool, Kimmel fired off his main question, and he produced a printout of the news report from Variety.

“Will you wear the green leotard in the water as Aquaman?” Kimmel asked matter-of-factly. To this Momoa cleverly answered with his own question, “Would you like to see me in a green leotard?” He shrugged all of the discussion as simple rumors.

Finally, he admitted that it “would be pretty exciting” to play Aquaman, which kind of gives you the feeling he's already gotten the role and now he's playing with audiences to test their response to the casting news.

“What do you think?” he rhetorically asked the talk show host as well as the audience, before concluding, “We'll just have to wait and see.”
