Right about now the producers of the Tonight Show are probably doing the victory dance and slapping each other in a congratulatory manner on the back for bringing in Jimmy Fallon to replace aging Jay Leno.

The Daily News is reporting that, during his second appearance, Fallon not only managed to outdo his direct competition, David Letterman and Jimmy Kimmel, but he also had more viewers than the two shows put together.

Despite the fact that he lost 4 million viewers from his Monday debut, Fallon still manages an impressive 7.4 million viewers for his second appearance.

Among his guests on Tuesday were comedian Jerry Seinfeld and Kristen Wiig who did an amazing Harry Styles impersonation.

Though it's obvious he had a little boost from the Olympic coverage, Fallon proves that his impressive debut in terms of audience was no accident and that he's going to give the other late night shows a run for their money.
