Put images back together

It has been said that a picture is worth a thousand words, but in this case, it should be changed into something like “A picture is worth a thousand pieces.” I'm sure you have realized that I'm talking about another puzzle game and in this case, I'd have to say that it is a very good one.

Jigsaw World is a classic puzzle game where you are given an image that has been fragmented into dozens, hundreds and even thousands of pieces and you have to match them back together so that you can view the whole picture again. At first glance, you might be inclined to say that it's not that big of a deal, but those that enjoy these games and have spent hours just trying to reassemble an image, would have to beg to differ.

I'm sure you've learned that it is always easy to break something than trying to fix it; this can perfectly apply to jigsaw puzzles. Let’s say, for instance, that you have a large image with a lot of colors and background details. It you take that image and break it down into pieces that are randomly placed on a board and have different shapes, then the task of putting the image back together should be handled by someone with either lots of patience or a lot of free time.

Personally, I'm a fan of puzzles because they give me the satisfaction of a hard day’s work. A great feeling fills you up whenever you have completed something that you thought would never end. Jigsaw World gives you this type of feeling whenever you have managed to complete the task.

What is so great about this game is that it comes with a wide variety of images you can choose from. Detailed, less detailed, colored, not too colored, these are just some of the game features. Also, you can choose the fragmentation level of the image and whether the pieces are chaotically organized or not. If you are an advanced player and you have a trained eye, this will surely make an excellent challenge to overcome.

Considering you have about sixty images on different themes to choose from, all of them customizable, I would have to say that you will not get bored very easily and even if you went through all of them, you would surely want to do them again at least once more. As a result, these types of puzzle games are great not only for children but also for adults, because they have the ability to stimulate memory and perception.

The disadvantage of this game is that it does not come for free. If you want to benefit from unlimited gameplay and no other shareware restrictions, you have to pay a fee of 19.99 dollars for registration. For those of you that enjoy these types of mind games, I encourage you to try this one and see that I'm right.

Here are some snapshots of the application in action:
