As she was in Israel, visiting historical sites and meeting with politicians the other day, Madonna released the full-length official video for her upcoming single off the next album, “Celebration.” The clip is available for free download on iTunes for a limited period of time, while the album is scheduled to be released on September 28. Fans will be surprised to see not only the singer’s rumored boyfriend, Jesus Luz, but also her 12-year-old daughter Lourdes appearing in it, as the Boston Herald can confirm.

Both have long denied any romantic relationship, but the truth seems to come out in the groovy “Celebration” video, with Madonna slowly whispering in Luz’s ear, “Haven’t I seen you somewhere before? You look familiar.” She then laughs, rips off his jacket and says right before kissing him, “I guess I just don’t recognize you with your clothes on.” Of course, this is far from a confirmation that the two are also dating in real life, but casting Luz in the video might be too big a coincidence to mean absolutely nothing, reports in the media say.

“The ‘Celebration’ treatment is reminiscent of the spastic sequence from Madonna’s 1998 techno-pop hit, ‘Ray of Light,’ also directed by Jonas Akerlund who helms this video. It’s a melange of sped-up and rewound gyrations, quick cuts and come-hither moves from the age-defying, ever-fabulous Madge, who sports a sleek new bob, thigh-high boots and supershort, sparkly dress. No clue how she does it, but it’s done.” the Boston Herald says.

As noted above, Jesus Luz is not the only surprise appearance in the clip, as Madonna has also managed to include her 12-year-old daughter Lourdes amongst the dancers. Blink and you miss her (past the 3-minute mark), but pay attention and you can see her doing an amazing backflip, thus perfectly integrating with the troupe of dancers. Clearly, Lourdes worked hard and trained for this brief appearance, fans say.

Madonna’s next album, an impressive collection of her greatest hits that also includes two new tracks, is to arrive in music stores at the end of the month. “For die-hard devotees, the deluxe 36-song, two-CD version of her greatest-hits collection will include two new tracks, the title song and ‘Revolver,’ featuring – yeah, he’s everywhere – Lil Wayne. A separate ‘Celebration’ DVD with 47 videos will also be released.” the aforementioned publication says.
