After already telling the media that it has become increasingly hard for her to find movie roles that would suit her because she’s being discriminated for her good looks, Jessica Biel is now speaking out on the pressure she feels to always look impeccable. In her latest interview for Allure magazine, the star says she simply can’t afford to have an off day because she would come to regret it.

According to Biel, because her life is so thoroughly documented by the paparazzi, she can’t get a moment’s peace and she certainly can’t afford to be careless – even for a second – as to her looks. This is why she spends a lot of time in front of the mirror before going out, otherwise, she risks waking up the next morning and seeing the most horrible paparazzi shots of her plastered on the covers of all magazines.

“It’s wonderful to do what I do, but everything that goes with it? It’s bizarre.” the actress says for Allure, adding that she has come to spend hours working on her appearance just to make sure she always gives the best photo – even at those times when she does everything in her power to avoid having her picture taken. “The invasion of privacy is very tough. I am followed all day, every day. Going to the dentist, the cleaner's. I guess I could look like [expletive] going to the dentist, but only if I didn’t care what I saw in the papers.” Biel adds.

As fans must remember, just the other day, Jessica Biel was basically saying it was extremely hard to be as beautiful as she was, because she was constantly overlooked for important parts and was only offered small ones that meant nothing to her. At the same time, the star was also saying she wished she could be more like Scarlett Johansson or Natalie Portan, thus implying that these two had either surpassed this prejudice or were less good looking than she was.

“I just want an opportunity. If you don’t like the audition, then don’t hire me. But if you don’t even want to see me – that’s hurtful. It really is a problem. I have to be blunt.” Jessica Biel was saying the other day.
