The actor (whom I personally love and respect for his work) sat down for an interview with Huffington Post Live and, among other things, he also discussed his fears as regards the legalization of gay marriage.
As he reckons, if civil unions are recognized as marriage, what’s to stop a man from marrying his son to keep his estate in the family?
For some reason, Irons doesn’t believe incest between men is just as illegal as between a man and a woman.
Useless to say, his remarks have sparked quite a debate online so, before you see the video, I will leave you with just this: to his credit, he does say that he doesn’t have a strong opinion on the topic and that he wishes everyone to be happy, no matter who they love.
