Some time ago, Jenny McCarthy decided that, before she turned 40, she would pose for Playboy one more time, as a “salute” to all mothers out there who still look good after 35. In a new interview, she says she isn't afraid her own son will see the pictorial.

In fact, even if 10-year-old Evan sees her spread, Jenny feels she has nothing to be ashamed of: not only is it “classy” and “elegant,” but it's also tame compared to what else he could find online.

“I think he can find a lot worse available on the Internet these days,” she says in a new, brief interview with People magazine.

“I think people make such a big deal sometimes about it, when I feel like it just comes down to how you raise your child and how you explain things to your kid,” the television star goes on to say.

Jenny knows that the time will come when she'll have to explain to her son why she posed for the men's mag on seven different occasions but, until then, she makes sure he doesn't have access to any of the pictures.

Unlike other celebrities, Jenny doesn't keep these photos of herself framed on the walls of her home.

“Evan and I will have that conversation someday,” she says.

“I don't have one [magazine] cover up, period. I mean, I don't even have my Rolling Stone cover up. It's like, who wants to look at themselves? I don't. Seriously, the only picture I have up of myself is one of a shark eating Evan and me,” Jenny adds.

In a previous interview with the same magazine, the stunning blonde said that she thought the spread, which will be out in the July / August issue, was very classy and not offensive in the least, even though it had her showing a lot of skin.

She even compared it to an elegant spread in a fashion magazine like W, and she praised Playboy for still featuring real women with real curves, and not giving in to the current trend of using size 0 models, as we also informed you yesterday.
