14 DAY TRIAL // As announced the other day, Jenny McCarthy made her debut as permanent co-host on The View with an interview with her new boyfriend Donnie Wahlberg. PDA was included, as also was a brief story on the early stages of their relationship.

The actor and singer, who is happy to admit that his career has never been better, also says that he’s doing just peachy on a personal level as well, dating Jenny as of July 4th (“-ish”).
However, had it been just for him, they would have probably not been a couple because, after she slipped him her phone number, he didn’t call her back.
They met during an interview with Andy Cohen on Bravo, got to know each other on her show, and went on their first date weeks later. Donnie describes it as 6 hours straight of talks and getting to know each other.
He strikes me as genuinely infatuated, but she seems to be overdoing it a bit. Perhaps she’s hoping the publicity around the romance will help her fare better with The View viewers?
