14 DAY TRIAL // Nearly two decades after making her debut in the insanely popular men's magazine, Jenny McCarthy is bound to do another pictorial for Playboy by the time she turns 40. Look out for that issue later this year.
Jenny, who got her start in the industry after posing for the mag, has long said she'd be open to do another pictorial if Hugh Hefner would have her.
Until now, she doubted he would ever ask her again but, at the saying goes, never say never.
Us Magazine has confirmation of it: Jenny would be featured on the cover of the July / August 2012 issue, with a revealing pictorial inside.
“All I wanted to do [when she began in the industry] was work with my clothes on, and now I just hope to get them off!” Jenny joked at a recent press event.
Her 1993 issue is still iconic and, though she doubted she would grace the cover again now, she never really lost hope.
“I would absolutely pose for Playboy. I would be so flattered if they asked me. It's probably not going to happen but I think I want to do it again,” she said not long ago.
The offer comes just in time: Jenny will turn 40 in November. On June 29, her new Playboy issue will be out at newsstands.
While Jenny must surely have millions of fans around the world, chances are her issue will not be able to top the performances achieved with the Lindsay Lohan one, which literally broke all sale records when it came out.
As we also pointed out at the time, what was weird about the new record is that it was registered even though Lindsay's spread had leaked online in full just days before the release date.
Hugh Hefner reportedly paid Lohan $1 million (€785,175.8) to do it – money well spent.
