14 DAY TRIAL // With her latest video before this one, “I Luh Ya Papi,” Jennifer Lopez let her girlie, fun side take over, delivering a vid that was hot, fun and colorful at the same time. She’s being a bit more dramatic and many times more sensual for “First Love.”
The black and white video for the single is now out and, always the considerate diva, JLo made sure to include enough eye candy in it for both her male and female fans: on the one hand, we have very long sequences of her working on her tan in the desert (what’s a girl to do there but lounge on the ground and wait for her biker Prince Charming to drive by?) and of her amazing figure in a tiny, body-hugging white bathing suit.
On the other, we have just as many long sequences of her love interest, who just happens to be played by one of the hottest male models of the moment, the very intense and very British David Gandy. He is brooding, he is tall, dark and handsome, and he is also ripped, so shirtlessness ensues.
However, before you think this video is only a feast for the eyes, let me tell you that it’s not, because Jennifer made sure to include a few lines in voice-over at the beginning, going something like this: “I knew I had to leave the world behind me to find out who I was. I knew that love would never search for me. I had to search for it. And I knew you were out there. I knew that if I went far enough and left everything behind, I would find you.”
And find him she does.
All jokes aside, this is a very sensual but still pretty classy video. You could sum it up as “two gorgeous people striking poses in rather ridiculous circumstances, pretending to make / be in love,” but that would take all fun out of watching it. So there, enjoy!
