Jennifer Lopez is new to American Idol but, according to ongoing reports, she’s so determined to have all the spotlight shine on her that she’s already getting into silly disputes with Ryan Seacrest.

Granted, this is not the first time that word gets out that JLo is being quite a diva as regards her tenure as judge on AI, but it’s something new to hear she’s feuding with the host of the show.

This is all the more surprising given that Seacrest is the one that admittedly came up with the idea of having her on the show as a judge.

“Jennifer Lopez is already feuding with her new American Idol co-star, host Ryan Seacrest,” InTouch Weekly reports, citing well-placed inside sources.

Admittedly, feuding between the two goes on and on around such matters like their dressing room or who gets the most time onscreen, says the same sources.

“Now that she’s reportedly signed a $12 million deal to be a judge, Jennifer, 41, and Ryan, 35, have begun a power struggle over everything from dressing rooms to which star gets top billing,” the mag writes.

Since Seacrest was the one with the idea to bring Lopez on board, seeing how much trouble she is, he has come to regret his decision.

“Ryan was the one who first suggested Jennifer, but now he’s starting to regret it, because she’s acting like she’s a much bigger star than he is,” the spy says for InTouch.

“Ryan knows the diva behavior is likely to get worse before it gets better. Producers are trying to get them to make peace, but their egos are both pretty big,” adds the insider.

Speaking about her job as judge on American Idol, one that she considered as much fun as it was difficult and challenging, Jennifer recently said she set out for it hoping she would do her best.

“I’m going to give it my whole heart, soul and passion like I do with everything that I do. I’m looking forward to such a fun year,” she said after the official announcement, as we also reported.
