14 DAY TRIAL // Jennifer Lopez recently admitted that, of all the men she dated, she found dancers and singers to make the best lovers but, really, we could have concluded that she preferred them from her dating record. For the past several weeks, the diva has been romantically linked to DWTS pro Maksim Chmerkovskiy, and now we have the first photo apparently confirming that.
Jennifer and Maks met in late 2013, when they started doing rehearsals for a Celia Cruz tribute Jennifer did at the 2013 American Music Awards, where he was one of the backup dancers and was tasked with the job of lifting JLo over his head for the dramatic closure of the performance.
Rumor has it that they clicked on the spot but, because Jennifer was with Casper Smart at the time, and Maks was with Kate Upton, neither did anything in terms of acting on this impulse. However, when the romance with Casper fizzled and Jennifer was single again (and Maks too), they started hooking up.
Jennifer denied all rumors on this topic on her Twitter but that hasn’t stopped them from making the rounds.
Just the other day, Us Weekly reported that the two partied together at a club over the weekend after one of her shows, acting as if still in the early stages of dating – i.e. that phase where you can’t keep your eyes or hands off the other person.
“Maks was whispering into her ear and hugging her. They looked very flirty with each other... She had a huge smile on her face and looked like she was having a great time,” an eyewitness revealed for the publication.
Another eyewitness claims that Jennifer danced the night away, and that Maks remained by her side even when she wasn’t dancing. “At one point toward the end of the night, the two held hands and talked before sharing a long hug and saying goodbye,” adds the report.
They left separately.
Before you say that this is just another “insider” spewing lies to a glossy, TMZ has a photo that confirms the two partied together at the very least. Granted, it doesn’t show any flirting or kissing or touching, but just the two looking at the screen of a phone.
Jennifer is smiling at whatever it is that Maks is showing her on what we assume is his phone, and he’s looking at her.
Still, other sources tell the same media outlet that the two “were certainly close” and that this is proof they are hooking up, concluding that “it looks like they’re into some serious Rumba.” You get the joke.
