14 DAY TRIAL // You know her as a talented actress and you've probably gushed about her at least once when seeing her in films or in the media, where she's invariably portrayed as the most awesome person on the face of the earth. But recent reports indicate that Jennifer Lawrence is not the princess you see on TV.
Last week, there were several reports indicating that Jennifer Lawrence had broken up from her boyfriend Nicholas Hoult. Eye witnesses claimed that the actor got really friendly with a former flame by the name of Riley Keough, who also happens to be Elvis' granddaughter, at a party in New York.
Tabloids immediately jumped to the conclusion that he and Jennifer parted ways for a second time, the first being in January 2013 but they got back together six months later. The same reports claimed that Hoult was flirting with other women in the same club on the night of the event, hinting that he was on the market.
He may or may not be still in a relationship with Jennifer Lawrence at the moment, but it's clear that Hoult is weighing his options at the moment.
The more disturbing news is that TheFIX blog suggest the couple is indeed broken and it's because Hoult couldn't stand Lawrence's “exploded ego” any longer, nor her obsession with the Hollywood scene for that matter.
“Jen is still desperately trying to get back with Nicholas after he broke up with her,” says one insider, adding that “They’re still talking but Nicholas is moving on. He hates how in love with fame Jen is, and he told her he hates dating an A-list actress.”
The bottom line is that Nick wants a more low-key girlfriend at the moment, which is ironic, since Jennifer has worked so hard to achieve her current level of fame. The conclusion of the insider is that “Riley fits the bill.”
Whereas Jennifer revels in all the attention she gets in Hollywood and there is not one single time she isn't on the red carpet that she doesn't do something out of the ordinary to attract attention, Nicholas is more down to earth and likes to avoid the spotlight. He even opted to live in the UK to escape some of the attention.
At least that's what the insider says. It's hard to imagine Jennifer as this attention-grabbing celebrity since she's rarely in the press apart from scheduled and often contractually obliged appearances. Also, it's a known fact that she hates to be followed by paparazzi.
That being said, the future of this couple remains under a big question mark for the moment.
