Page Six reports that “American Hustle” actress Jennifer Lawrence, the current media darling, is looking at a 3-year contract with luxury fashion house Dior for anywhere between $15 and $20 million (€14,6 million).
Lawrence first starting working with Dior back in 2012 after her hit movie “The Hunger Games” came out, becoming their spokesperson and making their creations famous all over the world at award shows.
The reason for this very lucrative collaboration is obvious. Lawrence is the hottest rising actress in Hollywood at the moment, and the upcoming Oscar Awards are going to make her even more famous.
Any designer who will be able to get her to wear their creations is going to be selling like crazy. That's why Dior are willing to throw in big bucks to sign over exclusive rights. Cameras seem to love Jennifer and someone at Dior wants her to be wearing their dresses when she's in the spotlight.
Jennifer Lawrence is certainly not the first young actress to become involved in the fashion world. Kristen Stewart, the actress made famous by the “Twilight” movies has also been reaching out into the fashion industry.
